To understand the future and to make sure the future, of the future is kept safe is contained in the skin map. The skin map was made by an explorer of the ley lines, who recorded the coded locations of the leys on himself through tatoos. This story focuses on Kit Livingston and his adventures through Egypt, Bohemia, the Stone Age, and an Etruscan Tomb.
I did not read the first book in the series, so getting an understanding of what was going on was a little bit of a challenge. So, make sure you read the first book in the series before reading this book! However, I eventually caught on to what was going on and it became a very enjoyable read and very suspensful. This book contains a lot of history and a fair amount of science, and you will meet a couple of famous people along the way, which makes the book all the more interesting. At the end of the book I still had a couple of question, which I think was due to the fact that I didn’t read the first book in the series. Nevertheless, The Bone House was a fun, suspensful, and interesting book to read and I recommend the series as something fun to read.
