Kara McKormick gets chosen to compete in what she’s told is what is going to be a new hit teen TV show.  She will be staying in a house in Orlando with nine other girls and a somewhat eccentric housemother and during the time, be participating in all sorts of auditions and trials.  However unbeknownst to her, she is not auditioning to show off her acting ability and talent.  She and the nine other girls are instead being watched for their character, faith, and how they live their life behind the scenes and in “normal” life.

There is a lot I left out, but you’ll have no problem figuring out what’s going on.  This was a super easy read, which I pretty much read from start to finish in one sitting.  There are a lot of good takeaways and lessons to learn on popularity and humility.  The biblical basis is very solid, and presents a very good message on the importance of how the people you surround yourself influence and help you make important in your life, whether good or bad.
It was very captivating and the storyline flowed really well, I never felt like I didn’t know what was happening or going on.  The best way to describe it is: a fun, super easy read.

I received this book free from the publisher and am not required to write a positive review, but one of my own opinion.
