So often here in America we get caught up in a weekly routine of going to church on Sunday, work Monday through Friday, then have Saturday off to do whatever.  I think we, including myself tend to put church in its own little Sunday box, that only gets accessed on Sunday's, cause that's when church is.  We tend to forget that the church is not just a building but a group of Christ-minded followers trying to live to honor God in every aspect of life.  The church isn't designed to be a place we go to once a week, like we tend to do.  It is instead designed to be a place to come and to learn, then to take what we learned out to the world through our lives, whether it be through our jobs, school, or helping someone else in our spare time, instead of just concentrating on ourselves.  To sum in all up, we need to stop just going to church and taking up space, we need to start being the church through how we live our lives on a daily basis!

Every Single Man's Battle is a book designed to go along with "Every Man's Battle" and is specifically designed and targeted for single men. This book is very upfront and honest about the seriousness of sexual purity and the destruction that comes when the battle for sexual purity is not fought. This book can be used for personal use, but it is encouraged that you do it with a group and comes with great questions after each section for reflection and discussion. Overall it was a great book to read and I hope that it will allow men to see that they have the power to win the fight against sexual temptation.

When I recieved “The Quotable Rogue” I didn’t quite now what to expect or what I was getting myself into.  “The Quotable Rogue” is a compilation of different issues that Palin has addressed ranging everywhere from national security to her views on abortion.  I found this book to be an incredible book because through reading it I learned so much about Sarah Palin and where she stands on certain issues, just by reading hundreds of passages from speeches, interviews, and debates that she has done.  This book will give you Palin’s views, straight from her own mouth, not based off of how someone else want to interpret what she said.  Through this book you will also get a glimpse of her family life, her likes, dislikes, and what issues she feels strongly about.  Before reading this book I knew who Sarah Palin was and what major views she held, however after reading this book I have a better understanding of what she belives and why she believes what she believes.  Overall it was a great read and I highly suggest it.  I found it be an easy book to read, yet interesting and thought provoking all at the same time.

The Ale Boy's Feast is the story of how a persecuted group of people made a journey to a new home far away, that to them was just a myth, without their king, who was missing.  It's also a story of how deception and lies split apart a country, making the people believe in a false reality, until they see Auralia's colors, which brings them hope and a belief that there is someone or something bigger than them, that is guiding, protecting, and restoring their unity.  

Overall it was a good read, however a bit confusing as I felt as if I was joining in, in the middle of the story, even after reading the prologue.  However, after reading the book all the way to the end, the story line is written very well and is very captivating.

Put your dream to the test is a very motivation and inspiring book.  John Maxwell through this book takes your dream and puts it through ten different “test” to figure out if your dream is achievable.  I have read several books by John Maxwell, including parts of “Put Your Dream to the Test, so going into reading this book in its entirety, I sorta had an idea of what it was going to be about and had a dream of mine that I wanted to try out, to see if it would pass the tests.  This book as I said before is very inspiring, but also very frank and very honest about what some of the cost are going to be and the effort that it is going to take to make your dream a reality.  When I put my dream to the test I found several things that were hindering my progress, that I was able to overcome and has made my dream a step closer to being a reality.  This book is an incredible books and I highly recommend it as a must read.  This book has changed the way I view my dreams, from being just dreams, to something that could be reality.
