Once again, Robert Whitlow wrote an incredible fiction book, raising great moral questions, and incorporating incredible biblical truth!  “Life Support” is the first of a two part series, that will keep you captivated all the way to the end, then leave you on an enourmous cliff-hanger, promting you to get the second book in the series “Life Everlasting”.  “Life Support” is the story of how divorce lawyer Alexia Lindale must try to navigate between a wife, whose husband experienced a severe hiking accident and is now in a coma in the hospital, and her decision to let him pass from this life to the next and her father-in-laws decision to keep him alive.  Alexia must determine what is right for Baxter and must try to determine each party’s motive for wanting him dead or alive.

This book, like others of Whitlows is a very captivating, and very easy book to read.  The story line is easy to follow, and raises many great questions for you to ponder about life and death.  “Life Support” was a great book to read that kept reavealing secret after secrets each chapter, which leads you up to an enourmous cliff-hanger, which makes you cannot resist getting the second book.  Great book, great message!

“Water’s Edge” is a tale of deception, but through that deception of how God can change our lives.  The main character, Tom Crane, is a lawyer who became caught in a web of deception after he returned to his hometown to shut down his fathers buisness, who was killed in a boating accident.  Through all the deception and lies Tom comes to accept Christ as his savior and learns how to give his promblems and frustrations to God and to rely on Him, when all else fails.

When I got this e-book, I was a little bit skeptical, because I had never finished an e-book successfully, or without it taking way to long.  However, that may be partly due to the fact that every book before this one was school related, and not nearly as interesting.  I throughly enjoyed reading this book off my Itouch, and look forward to doing it with other books.  This book proved to be very thought provoking and very gripping, with a new twist and surprise with nearly every chapter.  I highly suggest this book as it has a great biblical message about deception and lies, but also of how God can change a man.  “Water’s Edge” turned out to be a great book, and a great read!

Thunder Dog is the story of Michael Hingson, who was blind from birth and was at the World Trade Center when it was struck on September 11, 2001.  Michael was a district sales manager for a data protection company that was located on the 78th floor of the World Trade Center.  Through this book you will learn of Michaels acount of escaping the World Trade Center, but also of his life of being blind since birth.  Michael was never taught that his blindness was something that prevented him from being successful in life, but that he instead could do just about anything he wanted in life.  Michael was never thought of as different from the other kids that he grew up with, but instead participated in almost all the activities that friends took part in.  Michael discoved ways to prevent his blindness from limiting him and eventually, with the assistance of his guide dog, escaped from his workplace after it was attacked on 9/11.  This book is more than just an account of one man’s escape of the Twin Towers on the day it was attacked, but also of how we cannot let things that hinder us, hold us back.  There are ways around the obstacles in our lives and we have the ability to be successful even if we have what other people may call “limitations” or “dissabilities”.  It was a terrific book to read and it was a great source of inspiration.

“Surviving Your Serengeti” is unlike any other buisness/inspirational book that I have ever read.  Almost every buisness/inspirational book that I’ve read uses real life experiences to get their point across, however this book uses a ficticious, easy to read, and enjoyable story to show you how to better and know more about yourself.  The story of this book takes part in today’s financial uncertainty, making it more applicable to today’s uncertain finacial times and because the characters are under the same cercumstance that so many of us are under it makes the story and the message seem like something attainable.  This book will take you on an adventure through the harsh wilderness of the Serengeti and you will learn about the animals that have to rely off of survival insticts and how those survival insticts can be applied to whatever you are trying to achieve in life.  This book was very motivational and very inspiring and it doesn’t just try to apply these skills to one aspect of life, but shows you how the skills that you learn can be applied to the entire realm of your life.  Overall it was a great book to read and if you are looking for a source of inspiration or want to learn more about who you are and the talents that you posess I highly suggest that you read it!
